Entries have been extended until 2/4/10 as numbers are running short. I need a minimum of 68 more riders....So get on it! Remember that this race is now open to anyone 16+

There will be no more extensions of entries after this time.

Those that have entered but not payed (list below) need to make sure I receive payment by WED 31/3 to confim your place. If you cannot use paypal then contact me on: udhc@live.co.uk and I will email you details to bank transfer. You can also enter via that email address if you are having problems accessing the WR site.

Update

The event is now open to anyone aged 16+ but the entries close in 6 days so get them in quick!

Update

Right just an update...

Varley Trophies have been kind enough to donate the UDHC cup which will go to the winner of the senior category.  For every other category there will also be a first place trophy along with prizes for those on the podium.

annnndddd....

Red Bull may well be turning up on the day giving everyone wiiings as per usual!

Remember that there are only 10 days left to enter!!

A few bits

Just to clear up a few doubts...

- The track is about 1:10 average
- There will be trade stands selling stuff
- There will be high end demo bikes
- There will be a small maintence stand
- The police will be there with their bike marking stand
- There will be a trials show
- There will hopefully be music throughout the day
- There will be an after party!!
- There will be a secure bike storage area for competitors

Entry Forms

Just a heads up,

Entry forms will be released Saturday 6th Feb around 17:00.

The cost of entry will be £30 but this includes everything such as:

- Proper race plate
- Entry into the after party
- Individual liability insurance (provided by British Cycling)

Brief overview of event

- A downhill mountain bike race through the University of Plymouth campus.  This is open to anyone not just students aged 18+.
- The selected charity will be the 'Stay Strong Fund'
- British Cycling age categories will be used.  Prizes will be given to the top 3 riders in each category used on the day.
- The date is 24th - 25th April 2010.
- Entry fee includes entry into the Students Union for a night out after the race. (strictly 18+) and you MUST be in before 23:30 or you will NOT be let in.
- Entry forms will be released shortly; due in 1 month before the event.
- Cost of entry to be decided.
- I have secured a set price at a local hotel Jurys Inn.  This is £69 per room, per night.  Included in that is a free breakfast on the Sunday.
- There will be NO parking on campus at any time.
- There will be trade stands selling goods from companies that are sponsoring the envent.
